The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization comprised of over 3,000 chapters and over 185,000 members.

The Esther Eayres Chapter NSDAR was organized on July 12, 1918, with 12 charter members. Esther Eayres Chapter NSDAR was named for the Esther Eayres, who was the first white child born in Orono.

We invite and welcome you to attend any of the Esther Eayres Chapter NSDAR meetings or events, meet our Daughters, and explore what we do. Monthly meetings include a social period, a business session, and a program. Our activities feature service to veterans, youth, and our community. Join us as we honor our American Revolutionary War Patriots.
