The chapter was originally organized on November 5, 1924, at the home of the Organizing Regent, Mary Pelham Hill. It was named for the members who gathered from these two towns. Now, our membership includes the surrounding towns and more.<\/p>\n<p>We are a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women\u2019s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We are a group of women with diverse interests, some of which include history, genealogy, veteran affairs, community service, DAR traditions, and commemorative events. All of these pursuits are shared through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mainedar.org\/topshambrunswick\/past-events\/\">fun-filled activities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We invite and welcome you to attend the chapter events, meet our Daughters, and explore what we do. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, April through November.
