She has passed on over the river,
\nOn through the pearly gates;
\nHer weariness now is over,
\nYet still she watches and waits.
\nWatches beside her loved ones,
\nWaits in the room-the hall,
\nSits by the flickering firelight,
\nWith a loving thought for all.<\/span><\/p>\n

O strange and sweet the fancy!
\nI ask not now to know
\nHow the spirits of our loved ones
\nAround us come and go;
\nWhether with shadowy footsteps,
\nOr, borne on noiseless wing,
\nThey come with the old love to us,
\nAnd spirit healing bring.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote><\/div>\n
