Welcome

Welcome to the Topsham-Brunswick Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). The chapter was originally organized on November 5, 1924, at the home of the Organizing Regent, Mary Pelham Hill. It was named for the members who gathered from these two towns. Now, our membership includes the surrounding towns and more.

We are a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We are a group of women with diverse interests, some of which include history, genealogy, veteran affairs, community service, DAR traditions, and commemorative events. All of these pursuits are shared through fun-filled activities.

We invite and welcome you to attend the chapter events, meet our Daughters, and explore what we do. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, April through November. Monthly meetings include a business session for members and a program with an interesting speaker for members and guests. Contact us for upcoming events.
