On July 21, 2001 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the Inaugural Chapter Meeting and Garden Reception for the Majabigwaduce Chapter, NSDAR was held at the home of Joan and Jim Lippke, 4 Dodge Point Road, Brooksville, Maine. A large gathering of family and friends witnessed as the New Members' Welcome, the Oath of Membership, and the blessing for the new chapter was given.

Members from the Maine State Organization in attendance were State Regent, Mrs. Kenneth Bartow; State Vice Regent, Mrs. Thomas Quinn; State Chaplain, Mrs. Leslie Spurling; State Organizing Secretary, Mrs. Wayne Mallor; State Corresponding Secretary, Mrs. Barbara MacLean; State Registrar, Miss Carolyn Kelly; State Historian, Mrs. Dexter Spiller; State Curator, Mrs. Jane Armstrong; State Parliamentarian, Mrs. E. Joel Bois. Honorary State Regent, Mrs. Claude C. Tukey. Maine Daughters: Mrs. Connie Jellison, Miss Vanessa L. Quinn, Mrs. Joy Milo, Mrs. Judith Couture, Mrs. Beverly Kelly. Mr. Adam Bartow, State President Maine State Society Children of the American Revolution and Miss Jessica Tukey, Maine C.A.R.
